Community Emergency Response Team
Every neighborhood needs individuals trained in disaster response, because we never know when a disaster will strike.
Members of our Community Emergency Response Team are trained in disaster medical operations, basic first aid, CPR, light search and rescue, fighting small fires, and supporting the Nestucca Rural Fire Protection District with traffic control and firefighter rehabilitation.
As a volunteer you will receive monthly training, engage in various drill exercises and learn how to be resilient. Through training, ordinary citizens can help our community be prepared for any disaster. Please see our CERT application which is the application of the Nestucca Rural Fire Protection District (NRFPD). We abide by the policies and procedures of the NRFPD and when activated, we are covered under their liability.
